Unable to select Qobuz in Naim app

I recently tried to access the Qobuz app to try to buy a download, but had forgotten my password. I changed the password and was able to access Qobuz through its app.

Today I tried to select Qobuz from the Naim app, but it wouldn’t select. I guessed this was because the Naim app was trying to connect with the old password. I have now changed the password again (in the Qobuz app), but even when I enter this in the Naim app, I still cannot connect.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Remember your password, log out everywhere and then log in again…….?

I had actually remembered my password when I tried to log into the Qobuz app, but it didn’t recognise me. Hence why I changed it at the weekend.

I’ve had an on-line chat with a rather helpful AI agent, which basically to.d me to try the usual IT solution of switching everything off, including the router and then waiting two hours. I get annoyed waiting two minutes, so this is really going to stretch my patience!

Maybe start using a password manager?

2 hours seems a bit excessive. (Maybe to wait for any timeouts in server side?)

How about:

  • log out in the Naim app / Naim device.
  • Restart the Naim device. (E.g. long power press, then start it up again. This should loose anything from RAM.)
  • Make sure, you have the right password.
  • Then try logging in again via the Naim app. (And with the right account.)

I’m pleased to say that it appears to be working now. It seems Qobuz just needed some time to reset to accept the new password. I can now log into the Qobuz app and can access Qobuz from the Naim app. Thanks for your suggestions chaps.
