I heard Ppfff speakers, at 080 Paris audio place. Unconventional speakers. They were associated with Aries Cerat integrated amplifier, Antipodes streamer, Eera dac.
One of my most magical experience. Nothing was lacking.
Aries Cerat debuts at 18 k. I would love to buy this integrated.
The speakers were special too.

Ppfff Andora.

Reminds me a bit of the legendary Spica TC-50.

€100000 for the Pandora if PYT Audio is to be believed, can’t find a price for the Adelaïda in your picture or the Ava. The Ada at <€14000 might be a bit more achievable and seems to use an electromagnet in its unfiltered main driver augmented by permanent magnet bass and tweeter, which are filtered.
My French isn’t up to making out if they’re otherwise unconventional.

It was difficult to find the specs . Only written on an image, so couldn’t translate it.
The look of them is unconventional, for me at least. Can’t say for the specs.
If you are one day in Paris, it’s 080 point fr. Hifi shop. ( it’s in fact an apartment)

Not what I heard. The Ppfff I heard were the 14k ones, with Aries Cerat integrated.

Xanthe, since you know a lot about physics and hifi … one of things I’m wondering for a long time is if a speaker with many tweeters can generate a decent bass. My consideration that bass in the end is just movement of air so in theory a speaker like you posted should be able to generate some bass. What’s your take on it?
