Tax factors of course. In the Netherlands you’re left with about half. Might be different in Sweden.
Careful choice of amplification needed for perfect cistern matching.
Perhaps something from Schiit Audio - a Vidar perhaps?
Trust me; those 36 drivers in each box create chest thumping bass!
The question is, does ot sound better if you flush before a session?
NAIM Allae? With the tweeter below the woofer?
And about one third in Italy, net - unless you’re a University professor.
Of course Cabasse Sphere must have a place here:
and also run for the Ugliest and Most Disquieting looks.
You would get a cleaner response and certainly a less troublesome back wave.
Depends also on what you listen too: highly recommended to flush while you’re listening to Händel’s ‘Water Music’, but not advisable when something like Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge over Tourbled Water’ is more like your tune!
I’ve heard the Avantgarde a few times. They are certainly very good.
Unluckily I’ve never had the pleasure to hear them! Hopefully one day…
Although of all their (current) designs, these are probably the most conventional looking.
I heard these Duevel maybe 15 years ago. Nice looking. The sound was holographic, as it should be for that kind of speakers. It was amazing to hear all the percussions hanging in space.
15 years later they still look modern and nice. But other will disagree probably.
These would good if they where painted to look like a eye ball,
The dealer in Paris I spoke to, who stocked Duevel but only as far as the Bella Lunas, thought those needed 50 square metres to work in. When I told him I had a Naim 500 and 40 square metre he suggested I try German Physiks HRS-130s, which he didn’t stock.
Now for another Omni, the Mundus Eternita.
Similar deflector setup to Duevel and Avantage but not so easy on the eye.
