Unconventional speaker designs

Speaking of radials, I’ve long hankered after a pair of these. But they are slightly too expensive and deserving of better electronics than I’m prepared to pair them with for the dining room so I expect they’ll never happen.

From a design aesthetic I really love the look of Franco Serblin’s designs from the Lignea and Accord. Of course I can’t mention his later designs without including the upper end Sonus Farbers.

Graham 55 had two pairs of the Quads ESL57 , I saw one pair (so it might have been three pairs)

I only heard them the Quads once, at Uxbridge Audio - wonderful sound

Surely that is FR driven AI generated? Please tell me this is not real. If so, what a load of crap.

If only bidets weren’t more prevalent. I had one installed during Covid and it’s been absolutely life changing.

What are ‘sophisticated bidet functions’ ?

Come to think of it, maybe best if I don’t ask.

Haven’t got a a clue, it is after all a thread about designs , it doesn’t have to be real only a *design *

I always imaged one day I would have one of these in my home cinema. Truly legendary subwoofer from Bose used in venues. Acoustic Wave Cannon

Combine isobaric and transmission line loading. First section is a sealed tube with woofers at each end, one firing into the tube, the other firing out. Then the transmission line (cannon) is bolted in. Things are used to supply base reinforcement in stadiums.

Of course the net is full of pictures of living rooms with 4 mounted on wall or hanging from the ceiling. I’d be very suspicious of the structural integrity of any domestic property after using these.

They have jets of water (warm), which can be chosen to direct at different parts of the anatomy to encompass both male and female needs.

After you live with them for a few years, going abroad is fear inducing. “OMG they only use paper in other countries. That is soooo disgusting.

Amazing what you get acclimatised to. I’m visiting the UK in Dec. Biggest fear: ye olden days lavatory.
