I use my Uniti 1 24/192 as source to my Nait 50. For HiRes playback my understanding is from following sources it can ?
1 USB
2 optical in from PC Tidal and Qobuz players
3 local network source NAS
But Tidal from Naim App is No and likely to be never.
Is that about right ?
Correct, but there are ways around it eg bubbleupnp or roon or audirvana.
Supporting MAX hi res as I read there can be issues ?
You will have to use 3rd party software or hardware solution, once tidal max is actually properly available and supported by hardware/software.
It will not work natively with the first gen Naim streamers.
