My Uniti 2 is showing ‘fault 21 CDmech. No comms’. I can use all other inputs via the app but cannot use the remote or clear the code. Unsurprisingly the CD isn’t working. All this completely out of the blue. Any ideas of the problem and how I might reset the unit?
That error code is the “Upgrade to Uniti Star” code. 
I have no idea what the code is, hopefully someone will reach out to you that actually knows, and can shed some light on it. I am still nursing my 13 year old Uniti 1 along, still works and display good, I just find it difficult to even think of retiring it! The Swiss Army Knife of Hi-fi!
