Hi all, after a few months of problem-free streaming of music from my NAS drive via Audirvana to the Atom, the issue of intermittent playback has returned.
Last time I resolved this by upgrading my Ethernet switches and all Ethernet cables to Cat8. This appeared to do the trick, until a week ago.
Nothing has changed in the set up. The only thing I can think of is a software update on the mac mini, which is running Audirvana. What is strange is using Chromecast from Audirvana rather than Ethernet works fine.
Anyone else had issues recently with streaming via Ethernet to the Atom? Also, how many of you use Chromecast rather than Ethernet?

Hi there, thanks for the info. Well there you go. That makes it even stranger then. As long as Chromecast from the mac mini via Audirvana works it’s an acceptable workaround. Just can’t fathom what make it suddenly stops mid flow via the Upnp.
Have you asked the Audirvana community? I have seen some reports of issues with Tahoe.
And just curious, since you write you use a NAS… Is it possible to install the Audirvāna linux core player on your NAS? That core player is quite stable.
