Uniti is taking over control

When I am streaming Apple Music to my Uniti Nova from my iPhone (both on the latest software versions) once in a while the Uniti takes over control. The music on the iPhone shows as halted and it is not possible to control the music playing on the Nova on the iPhone anymore. The Uniti plays the playlist but does not display cover art. Controlling the music with the Naim app (e.g. jump to the next title) is still possible.

I know that AirPlay2 allows a direct streaming form the Apple Servers to the „speaker“ but so far I have only seen this on Apple HomePods.

I am wondering if this is a bug or a feature.

Have any of you experienced the same behaviour?

I suspect that it is developing AI. My advice is to pull the plug before it decides it wants to take over the world.
