Are the pre-amp and DAC components the same across the new Uniti range (Atom, Star, Nova)?
No they are all unique in some of their components and implementation.
I read a review which said:
“The Uniti Atom, Star and Nova feature a new fourth-generation, 40-bit SHARC DSP processor (the ADSP 21489 ) and Burr Brown DAC.
So this sounds like there is some commonality in components which make sense in terms of the production process.
The amps are different, the Nova is a different dac…the forum vidited last year, and with the casings removed…they are different beasts. There are some interviewswith Naim that confirms these are not just a few tweaks between the range.
