I just bought this a month ago and just noticed that the connection is a little wiggly at the base input on the unit. Is this normal?
Yes it is. It helps to decouple the unit from detrimental external microphonic effects caused by vibrations getting into the unit and affecting sound quality.

How do i decouple the unit??
It’s designed that way by Naim to minimise any external microphonic interference entering via the cabling to the sensitive electronics inside the case.
All you have to do is ensure the mains IEC cable is connected securely and fully inserted.
