I also found the QED Silver Anniversary XT to be shrill and lacking, not nice with a Nova or Atom. Cheap Chord Rumour based cables though work well and are much easier to handle than NACA5.
I recently replaced the Powerline Light with a full Powerline to power my Uniti Atom and obtained the wider soundstage and better bass control others have reported.
I use TQ Ultra Blue speaker cables as a good mid-range option for the wonderful Atom (system #2, in kitchen).
