Unitiserve ssd for recycling

A few weeks ago the dreaded green light started flashing on my Unitiserve. As the Core had been discontinued and there seemed to very few available I bought one as a replacement and I am very pleased with it. Just wondered if anyone on the forum had any suggestions for what I can do with the Unitiserve, it seems a waste to just throw it away.

You can get the CMOS battery changed on your Unitiserve or change it yourself and it will quite probably be fine again. It’s a CR2032 battery you can buy from any supermarket for a couple of £s. But you do need to reset the BIOS to Naim defaults after changing it (that needs a keyboard with a PS/2 or USB plug and a VGA monitor).

Then you could sell the Unitiserve for a couple of hundred pounds or so…

Thanks David.
