Unity Atom not visible on my wifi network

Hi All,
Just bought a unity atom and its not visible on my wifi network. I have done the obvious e.g reboot router & atom, have the latest app and I also connected the atom directly to the router with an ethernet cable and still doesn’t show up. I have raised a ticket with naim but won’t now get a response until Monday. Anything else I could try?

Is this a brand new unit or new to you?
If new to you, then perform a factory reset is the first step.
To assist further, control point info, the latest is not a version number!
Extra info, which has a bearing on these things, is country.
If purchased from a dealer, then that should be your first point of call.

Yes can you put it on Ethernet even just to test? You don’t need speakers attached just drag it to where the router is and hard wire

Op says that’s been done!

Its ex-display with a 2 year naim warranty

If it is a Naim dealer, ex demo unit, then certainly, that is your first point of call, when you have tried the reset.
However, if you prefer not to provide information which might help forum peps to resolve your issue, difficult to add further advice!

Thanks, much appreciated. Sorry didn’t understand control point info? Country is UK.

So, if this has come from a Naim dealer, they should be involved, ahead of Naim support.
Try the reset suggested, after which try connected again with patch cable to router.

Think you already have an open thread about Atom, so worth asking @Richard.Dane to review for merging the two threads into one!

Yes I managed to miss that lol. In which case I would be questioning if the WIFI is the same network as the ethernet. Sure it is but worth a question.

Thanks a lot everyone. I did a factory reset and set up my network router passkey on the naim atom and it works! Well, still waiting for speaker cables to fully test but the atom is now visible on the network.

Sometimes the app takes a few goes to “see” my ND5 XS2 and Muso Qb2. More so than before last update it seems, ammoyingly. But it does find them eventuality (all on very good WiFi).
