My reason for suggesting an AE was that it creates a local network to which the Muso can connect, as can your phone, thus enabling you to use the Naim app for control. However, that LAN would not have an internet connection (unless you can link it to your works network). So for Tidal, it would mean using the Tidal app on your phone, and connecting to the Muso via AirPlay.
