I have an LP12, a NAT01, a ND555 and a B77 feeding my NAC252, use one of the inputs to power my Headline, and have a pair of CR7s feeding the final input via a QED tape switch. I can record from the B77 or tuner to either of the Naks. However, if I swap the QED tape switch for a QED 6 way input expander, I can’t get anything to play through any of the other inputs on the QED (neither a CD player nor my Sony Walkman Pro). Is this an incompatibility issue between Naim pre’s and the QED MB41? I’ve tried 2 with the same result.
It should work the same - the earlier type QED switchers I have are just passive switching devices with lots of point to point wiring inside. I assume your later one is the same in that regard.
Be sure that you have the DIN5 - 4 x RCA tape interconnect correctly connected up and not with the REC and PLAY RCA Phonos swapped around.
