Volume mode in the app settings for second generation streamer why

Hi,

A while back I discovered a setting that was new for me at the time. When using my nd555 in the settings menu there is a Volume mode option that can either be hybride, fixed or variable.
there is no help for the 3 settings, fixed and variable probably is selfexplained, but hybrid?

Hybrid vs Variable volume

That screenshot looks pretty clear to me. In hybrid mode the digital volume works just with streaming services. Streaming services are Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz. In variable mode it works with anything going through the streamer, so local files, your nas, internet radio, the TV etc.

You should use fixed volume for best SQ.
