Hi - I have only just joined the Naim community having purchased an NSC 222, playing through PMC 25/23i active speakers plus a Cyrus CDT.I have a ROON One server with 8TB hard disc storing 1,000s of FLAC files, and subscribe to Qobuz.
The NSC 223 is to replace my previous Linn Edition with Organik DAC. Lots of reasons why I changed, none of them negative.
Very happy with the NSC but NOT happy with the fact that I cannot register it for warranty cover due to an error message at the end of the process. I have reported this to NAIM Support and received a ticket number 4 days ago.
Despite my following up seeking a response there has been total silence.
Is this indicative of NAIM product/ customer “support”?
Hi Phil, welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you’ve experienced some difficulty in getting your registration resolved.
Support is good but sometimes they can be very busy and it can take a little while getting through the tickets. If you let me have your ticket number I’ll contact Naim and ask them to expedite for you.
Based on relatively limited experience they do respond, fully and courteously, but not immediately. I think I have contacted them and received responses a couple of times in the last year, with responses arriving in a few days. It could be that they are resolving the issue before responding. I have not had problems registering so it could be that you hit a temporary glitch.
When I bought my NSC 222/NAP 250 in 2024 I registered them both on the NAIM website. In a recent NAIM app update that registration seems to have been lost. Perhaps as a result of NAIM updating their website a while back. So I thought I’d register them again and create an account through the app. However, it won’t register if a select my system. It won’t recognise using my serial numbers. It also won’t allow me to register via the website. Ridiculous!

My ticket number is 297008.
When registering and I enter the serial number it shows the product as Sub con assy, NSC 222 X, Incap build KOR
At the end of the registration process I am still getting the message - Your serial number " NAB01020817 " is incompatible, please try again without using the serial number.
If I try to register without using the serial number that doesn’t work either.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Phil, I have emailed a colleague at Naim. It seems they’re currently experiencing a technical issue with the registration system on the website but hope to have it sorted soon. They will be responding to your email shortly.
My account on the app only showed the focal speakers I registered previously not my naim equipment clearly it used the focal account I had previously made as a base not info I had with naim. I have no idea if the naim systems still show my equipment registrations or not.
It doesn’t work for me from the Naim app or the website.
I’m somewhat annoyed as I bought my 222/250 just over 2 years ago now - the 222 has been in for repair once already - and now it seems I don’t have the additional 3 years warranty because they updated their website and threw away all previous registration data it would appear. Maybe I’ll just sell the lot and get something else!
Naim are getting better and better at pushing their customers in that direction……. , like they’ve got customers spending £11k+ every minute of every…..
I’d give @Richard.Dane advice a go and send an email to support@naim.co.uk asking for their help in sorting it out, including purchase dates and serial numbers.
Hi - NAIM support have confirmed that registration is experiencing problems which they are working on to put right.
Given that registration will very often be the first interface with a customer and NAIM support, I find it odd, and not reassuring, that they seem unable to correct this despite having know about it for some time.
I’m told that the online product registration system should now be working properly again. Obviously, please let me know if you are still experiencing issues.
