I tried searching and got lost! Was there ever a consensus on which Ethernet cable (s) sounded best? Due to a recent change I’m going to run my Auralic wired not wireless.
Thanks fellows

The best Ethernet cable is the Chord Signature Super Array in my opinion.
Oh god, not again
Officially a streaming cable, as the modifications Chord made to the Aray cables break the Ethernet specifications.
Answer is no. Move on.
Jeez .
I think its very rare to get any consensus on this forum, especially on cables.
Let alone a consesnus…
Leo Kottke!
I use ethernet cables from Blue Jeans and then I guess streaming cables Chord C-stream. I’m very happy with them and I find the costs to be acceptable.
The consensus was that some people had strong opinions and thought those with differing views were wrong.
A friend who had indoor rabbits said the best cable was always the cable a rabbit wouldn’t chew or if they did it was cheap to replace.
I have grey ones and black ones (cables, not rabbits). They seem to work ok.
The black ones are the best, as they don’t interfere with the inky blackness of your music. Or so I’ve heard, my blue jeans cables are white, which is good for keeping my music signal cleaner.
That’s easy, some one totally undiscovered playing in a bar in Havana.
As a general rule any product named after an element are the ones to go for.
Look out for Cobalts Telluriums, Neons etc.
Avoiding cables named after characters from Noddy is sound advice that has not led me astray to date.

There won’t be, given the permutations of network structure, switches etc, electromagnetic environment, and streamer or renderer & DAC, any one of which may influence whatever effect any ethernet cable may or may not have.
As you are in US, maybe a dealer can lend you some Shunyata or Synergetic Research one ?
The most used cables here are Blue Jeans cat 6, Chord C Stream, and Audioquest Vodka.
I do wish that someone would correct the spelling in the title!
Is there a consensus on that?
Interesting, and just shows how room and system dependent these things are. Very happy here with my Big Ears Uranium
