recently maybe,i can’t access to it,what about of it?

It does seem to be down at the moment, I get an ‘access refused’ message.
Maybe @Richard.Dane could investigate?

It’s been unavailable for a while, I was searching for something about a month ago and got the error.

Just presumed it was a Focal thing, like the unmaintained naim website.

I’ve asked Naim but it’s something managed in France. France is on a holiday today so Naim will follow up with them next week.

Hi Richard, that would be very helpful to ‘reopen’ the old forum as I learnt a lot from digging old posts daily!

Hi Julius, that’s why we created the old forum archive so we didn’t lose all those posts, many of which had a lot of valuable information. It’s a shame that it couldn’t be done for the first and second iterations of the forum, although at least for the first one, Julian’s contributions were saved and archived.

Julian Vereker forum history. @Richard.Dane The information in this file must be the second iteration since it’s posts until just days before he passed away 14th of January 2000?

So as I understand it he was active on the forum until just days before he passed away. So sad.

Richard, may I ask, what is the best way to access the old forum?

Is it simply web page form?
Or is it possible to hook Discourse in to it?

Hi Richard, would you please check if the archive stopped accessing from Asia? Think I could still read it 2-3 days ago but now it just keep loading, thanks a lot!

Julius, it’s not loading for me, so seems to have an issue again. I’ll let our web dev know in the morning.
