It is indeed, an evening out going to the pub, for a quick cold beer !
Just the one of course !

I guess It can destroy pretty much everything on road like these bar a 992 Turbo S perhaps.

I love the color. Here in the US buyers tend to congregate around black, white, various shades of grey and an occasional blue. Makes for boring new car lots. Your car is a breath of fresh air.
Those roads should be fun.
I do like your RS3, Andy. The perfect hot hatch
Many thanks @ClayB I’ve had black cars for years, and fancied a change! I never lose it in the car park!
Thanks @james_n It’s a very practical car, and comfortably carried all our luggage.
On the long drive up from Newcastle in ‘efficiency’ mode with cruise control on, it (surprisingly) averaged almost 40mpg.
Then, in RS mode on the little roads, it is absolutely bonkers.
Loving that package, just take care in that area regarding “enthusiastic progress” the cops can be er, enthusiastic
I had a Mini in British racing green , it was good, with a wooden dash board and I really liked it.
It had to go as drivers of a certain German car could not see it on the narrow country roads , likewise drivers of certain British 4 x 4 cars built in the West Midlands
It really became an issue, when it was traded in I went for an orange Mini - so people could see it.
The Mini dealers remarked that I had “one of those invisible Minis” , it turned out I wasn’t the only one with this problem
Love the colour, as I said in my last post I had so many near misses where cars don’t see me with British Racing Green, when I went to Suzuki wanted bright yellow , had to settle for red instead.
Colours like that of yourAudi (I believe) are far safer , as far more visible on narrow country roads
Remember GPO Telephone vans going from drab olive to chrome yellow?
RR Velar. 3.0L V6. Supercharged.
Great looking car, engine and top specs and I hope it does not let me down.
Even the pigeon stopped by to check it out.
Enjoy it Tony, I think they are a great looking car (for an SUV)
Thank you, Steve.
Where were you at?
They should be in the now expired vintage trains, planes and automobile thread.
Those cars were so routine in their day … My first company car was a Ford Escort 1300 Popular (they weren’t popular with their users ) but that looks a more jazzed up Escort
