A while ago my NAXO2 developed a fault and lost the treble on one channel. I noticed it as I put ‘Love is the drug’ on. Spent ages looking at cables and swapping things around. Eventually sent the NAXO2 off and a bad solder joint was found.
Despite that… I still really like this album! (and now have four crossovers to choose from…)

Streaming on TIDAL… I have this album pre-ordered that was released on October 18th but has not yet been delivered. I noticed it was on TIDAL and thought it would be a perfect album to end the day with and take it out for a spin. A little comment from the ECM website, " 25 years on from the release of Officium , the groundbreaking alliance of Jan Garbarek and The Hilliard Ensemble, comes Remember me, my dear , recorded during the final tour the group made in October 2014. The program is emblematic of the range of repertoire the Norwegian saxophonist and British vocal quartet explored together– from Pérotin, Hildegard von Bingen, Guillaume le Rouge, Antoine Brumel to Komitas , Arvo Pärt and more." Looking forward to the rest of the album this evening, the opening track is sweet and my wife and I are throughly enjoying it. Life is Grand!

Elton John - Tumbleweed Connection
the photo was taken by a photograhper flatmate of Claptons and he called it ‘Blind Faith’ after which the band was named, the girl got a £40 fee but originally requested a horse in payment! It caused a lot of controversy at the time as you could imagine but seems all the more inappropriate today. Good album though.

Hi Clive, I’ve listened to Royal Scam now - it’s ok but I couldn’t get excited by it - some different guitar sounds.
Gaucho is a different matter - it’s really good. The system is sounding very near its best.
You will be starting your system up soon, and I hope with 10 days behind it that it will meet your expectations. How are you going to use your three radials? Vinyl on its own?
