Streaming on NAS… continuing on this morning with Anouar with more beautiful tunes from this wonderful quartet. The music is sublime and perfect for a relaxing weekend morning to be enjoyed with a cup of coffee, love it! One sweet album…
Dire Straits - Alchemy, a live album recorded during the Love Over Gold tour, most of the songs are stretched beyond their studio lengths and some lose focus.
Great classic. Heard this to today on the latest MoFi original masters vinyl released yesterday. It sounded sublime. My copy should arrive in the next couple days.
Some great live symphonic Goth metal to help take me to another place. Within Temptation aided and abetted by a forty piece orchestra and twenty piece choir making great music. I haven’t watched the DVD to this event in a few years but will give it another go very soon.
Great, I am glad that the MoFi original masters vinyl release are sounding sublime, I don’t have a turntable at the moment as my old Project Debut turntable is broken (lose wire in the tone arm) I am thinking I might buy a new Rega turntable after the new year. If I do Dire Straits will definitely be one of my first buys.
Ziv Ravitz (drums, electornics), Nir Felder (guitar), Will Vinson (saxophone), Gilad Hekselman (guitar on tracks 1, 2, 6), and Camila Meza (vocals on track 9).
Streaming on NAS… took Ziv out for another spin, a very lovely trio with guests. A wonderful album and continues to grow on me!
Avishai Cohen (Trumpet), Yonathan Avishai (Piano), Barak Mori (Double Bass) and Nasheet Waits (Drums).
Streaming on NAS… having seen Ziv play with Avishai a few weeks ago I thought it would be nice to give them both a spin. Loved there work together and hope to find or hope they get together and release and album together. A couple of wonderful musicians making some sweet music!
Been listening to her this afternoon. Totally enthralled. Also reading Philip Pullman’s Northern Lights. What better way to make the the dark day pass.
Streaming on NAS… taking out Buddy for a spin for some fine blues on this Saturday afternoon, toes tapping and body swaying with the opening track. Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler along with others also make guest appearances on the album. One sweet album!
