Iggy Pop - Free

Reflective, fun, ambient, jazz, poetry. It’s all in there.

It was an excellent debut album, the second wasn’t that bad either. He’s now an Australian citizen living in a inner Sydney suburb (Balmain).

Hi Pete, yes he has a solid ten or so songs that would form a decent best of, didn’t know he is now an Aussie, thanks for that.

Interesting. I post the walrus of love and get 1 like and post gangster of love and get 10 likes within 1 hour. Does nobody love Barry any more.? Might try soldier of love by Sade. No I can’t be arsed

I like him (so does Mrs Pete) and gave you a like. Mind you I don’t listen to him that much anymore.

Cannonball Adderley and Bill Evans, Know What I Mean. Wax Time Records DMM LP.

Thanks to @Bob1052 for the suggestion a few hours ago, I like to finish the day with jazz and this is perfect. SQ of the DMM LP is excellent - for some reason I don’t seem to have the bad luck other members talk about with DMM LPS, maybe I’m just lucky.

Lou Reed Set the Twilight Reeling, definitely not his best but still worth a listen.

You didn’t mention it, but was this inspired by today (Sunday) being the 50th anniversary of her death?
