How on earth do you follow Dame Shirley?
With Jah Stitch (1975-1977). Blood and Fire label release No. 010.
Gary Moore - Blues for Greeny - WAV CD rip
Wonderful blues guitar work from Gary Moore, playing songs by Peter Green, one guitar master paying tribute to another. RIP Gary, RIP Peter.
I love 'em, especially the album Kiko, which was my preferred driving music in L.A. when I lived there in 1992.
Chris Stapleton - Starting Over
Chris on top form, but this hasn’t grabbed me quite like Traveller and From a Room Vols 1 & 2 quite yet. I need a couple more listens I think.
David Gilmour | 1978
Brightening up yet another dreich day here with his eponymous debut solo album at a time when the feud with chuckles at his day job continued.
Funny Johnny Etchells who Engineers on this album lives in my town and I used to work with a guy whose Auntie Shirley did the backing vocals - small world.
Great “bits and pieces” information that is always interesting to know.
Was just digging out Darkness on the Edge of Town when I spotted Skid Row 34 Hours. Not played it for years so banged it on the turntable. Big riffing blues rock with a very young Gary Moore. Not 'arf bad.
On the ole cathode ray tube tonight BBC4

Tinariwen.Emmaar. There are some gaps in my collection but this from 2014 is the 3rd album I bought.
The first to be recorded in California instead of Mali I think..

An early Stones album as nature intended in glorious mono from their hi-res box set released in 2016.
This is my favourite record of his.
