Shinya Fukumori Trio

Shinya Fukumori (Drums), Matthieu Bordenave (Tenor Saxophone) and Walter Lang (Piano).

Streaming on Qobuz (88.2/24)… continuing on this afternoon with Shinya, Matthieu and Walter and they are sounding mighty sweet! It has been awhile since I last gave this album a spin and they are worth the time to give a listen…

Cool, thanks @ewemon. I will look for it.

Such a great rock star picture of George, so unusual, normally despite being possibly the greatest rock stars of all time the Beatles didn’t do the look. I love it, he’s obviously having a ball.

Clive Gregson & Christine Collister - Home and Away Deluxe CD 2 - 16/44 download
@AndyP played some of theirs earlier, so after a chat with friends I’ll play this. Clive’s a seriously fine songwriter, a really classy guitarist, Chris has a superb alto voice and interprets songs wonderfully, and Clive harmonises wonderfully (and also sings superbly solo). Live recordings from a folk club, they sound fantastic, simple guitar arrangements with vocals don’t need big desks, this is great music.

Richard Thompson - Faithless - WAV CD rip
Great rock/folk-rock songs played by a great guitarist, live gigs back in 1985 with Chris Collister on backing vocals and Clive Gregson on guitar and backing vocals, a great band playing great songs.

True, they were never guitar hero’s. Not sure if his best work but I think it’s his happiest album.

Hi @Pete_the_painter I think that the CD release of Time Out Takes has been delayed until January here, which is a shame. Did you listen via a stream? I heard ‘Take 5’ from this new release today on my car DAB radio and thought it was excellent especially the variation to the drum solo.
