Norah Jones, the fall.
The jazz pianist Neil Cowley brought out this solo album in March this year. Qobuz has it as classical but I hear it as ambient jazz. Very good to start the week with.
There were 2 posts I saw late last night which intrigued me so added them to this mornings playlist.
This is the first one from @BertBird
Terramaze - Sorella Minore
fFounded in 1995 as a Thrash metal Band their style changed to being more melodic and critical comparisons were made to Queensryche, Symphony X and Dream Theatre from Qobuz
Yep I get that feeling too will be exploring more of their output
This week’s archive freebie is the amazing EP ‘The Oracle’ by The Alan Cohen Big Band, featuring a host of British jazz stars.
Available for free (or whatever yo want to pay) until this coming Sunday, the 10th October.
Enjoy!

Mikes Davis - Panthalassa
I’ve owned this since it was released, but recently it’s become a go-to album. I’m enjoying the new flavours introduced by these remixes.
Miles Davis - In a Silent Way
Followed Panthalassa with the original. I think this was about the third jazz album I bought back in the ‘80s. Oh boy, this is such a good album!
