Pixies - Surfer Rosa, CD rip.
Nirvana - In Utero. Sounds great on original vinyl
New Order - Brotherhood. Ditto.
Led Zeppelin II - CD rip. Time for some Zeppage! If ever there was a band due for the ‘remastered from the original master tape treatment’ (as per The Beatles with Giles Martin), then Zep are overdue, as this CD rip rounds a little rough and ready.
Sufjan Stevens. Songs for Christmas.
I have this in a nicely presented box of 5 cd/eps and probably my favourite Christmas album. It’s nice to own but once again due to laziness I’m streaming it on qobuz.
And also one of the funniest. Brilliant
Kate Rusby - Happy Holly Day Live 2020
This is a very good representation of her five studio Christmas albums.
I agree
Prompted by @johnt some more Afro Celts on double vinyl - the Source. As ever a cracking mash-up of beats/world/folk styles. Want me one of those big drums with a hammer (dohl?).
Two belters for me. The Richard Ashcroft album is a great reworking and his voice sounds top draw. Curtis is getting better and better!

Well of course they were the awful remastered by Jimmy Mutt n jeff Page editions from a few years or so back.
Peter Gabriel - 2010 Scratch My Back
Because I like this album of covers, so different from the originals, so recognizable, so very much Peter Gabriel’s.
