Larry Coryell - Fallen Angel

For some reason this didn’t attract favourable reviews from the critics. Well, what do they know? A fine album from Maestro Coryell.

Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews - Say That To Say This
Enjoyed his performance on the Best of Hootenanny the other day, so further investigation was required and so far it is a very enjoyable investigation.

Another new artist for me

Hope this one is typical of her other output but just hit repeat for a second play.

Patricia Barber Companion

Companion as you know is a live album from 1999 - back in time to 1994 takes you to a forum favourite Cafe Blue or moving on to say Mythologies where she explores theme related ideas.

Her music evolves throughout the catalogue and is a rewarding listen - best thing to do is just buy the whole lot including the live albums from Green Mill Jazz Club - off her website.
