Agreed, although I am not really too familiar with Conor’s other work. I see he was in Monsters Of Folk though. Any recommendations for Conor?

It would seem that way!
Where to start his works all good but some is a little
too down beat at times…
His work as Bright Eyes is a superb start here
This is one is good as a solo one.
Thank you CG, I will check these out.

David Gray (Vocals, Guitar, Piano), Mossy Nolan (Vocals, Guitar), David Kitt (Vocals, Guitar), Niamh Farrell (Vocals) and Robbie Malone (Vocals, Bass Guitar) and Caroline Dale (Cello).
Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… returning from an afternoon walk through the Queen Anne neighborhood and turning to the beautiful and soothing album ‘Skellig’ from David Gray. It is simply beautiful and continues to grow on me with every spin. Worth the time to give a listen…
Nicholas Payton - Nick@Night / 2000 Verve / US CD / 314 547 598 2
NP was mentioned on the Jazz thread, which has prompted me to give this fine recording a spin.
Now playing…
Ralph Towner & John Abercrombie - Five Years Later
Ralph Towner (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Electric 12-String Guitar, Mandolin Guitar) and John Abercrombie (12-String Guitar, Classical Guitar).
Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… continuing on into the early evening with Ralph & John and have not played this for a couple of months are they are sounding sublime! …a wonderful and beautiful album with a fantastic cover!
Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucia. Friday Night in San Francisco. Original vinyl.
Hard to believe that that album was recorded 40 years ago this year. I heard Di Meola, McLaughlin and De Lucia live a year or two after the release of the album and it was a concert I’ll never forget.

So, did you first listen to Sargasso Sea, or put that on after?
That Monsters Of Folk is a great album.
