John Mayall. Looking back thru the years.
These 2 cds are overview of early years with inclusion of non album singles. Great stuff.
The Beatles - Let It Be
Playing a late vinyl version. I’m 2/3 of the way through the Get Back BluRay set and am amazed that anything resembling an album of songs could emerge from such chaos. This album was never really a favourite, despite it being one of the first bought, but watching the studio process has increased my appreciation of it. It is the Beatles, after all.
Strange. I enjoy the books and TV series but the view from Harry’s house is the worst bit for me. As a country boy, I dislike cities and would hate to live in one. Not a jazz or valve amp fan either.
Tedeschi Trucks. I am the Moon. 1. Crescent. …great album…standout is track 5 Pasaquan …think Allman Brothers Mountain Jam from Eat A Peach.
This is awfully sad, I appreciate, but what is that TT on the front cover of the Donald Fagen LP?
Here’s an interview with Danny which you’ll probably enjoy Dread.
Cheers Tony, will check that out
To be honest Night Food isnt a great Heptones album, sorry Danny!, but has a few good tracks Country Boy (I posted as a tongue in cheek response to a previous post) Book Of Rules…
A much better post Studio One album imo is Party Time recorded at the Black Ark with Lee Scratch Perry at the controls
I have never seen that Yes album before.
What is it and, probably more important, who were the members of the group at the time it was recorded?
Eurythmics - Ultimate Collection.
A blast from the past with Annie and Dave … … … 80’s pop at its finest.
