Definition of a gentleman - someone who knows how to play the bagpipes but doesn’t.
Anyway, back to the music. This is rather wonderful.
Streaming on Qobuz - all six hours of it - but in small chunks.

Another blast from the 80’s
Remember hearing this on my mates Dual/NAD/Celestion system when it first came out….
That was it then bought a Rega 2/Rotel/Celestion system soon after….
My first system!
Those Tony Thompson drums are epic on that album! Along with Bryan Ferry and Janet Jackson (Control), it was one of the go-to 80s CD’s I used to demo to folk in the hifi shop I worked in whilst at Uni. Those albums cranked up through big Mission floorstanders after 6pm on a saturday, wow. Oh, 90125 got a good airing too.

Hi Adey, I think it was John who mentioned Bosch to me recently, I’m only at series 2, love the Jazz references and yes I’m always looking in the background at the HiFi gear etc, then find Im rewinding coz the distraction has made me miss something in the plot, ha! Thanks for the heads up on the books.
Actually have been a bit unwell but better now, lots of trial n tribulation going on in my world right now but as always my music aided and abetted by the recent upgrades keeping me sane (well almost).
Send regards to John, I probably be in touch again soon, when I see whats left after paying the Mafia for my gas n leccy!
Stay tuned…
Same album and system but with Heybrook HB1s - the start of a journey.
A masterpiece!
