Lou Reed. Words and music 1965.
I prefer the heavier side of Lou but this collection is interesting but for completists only imo

On vinyl

Always had a soft spot for this Pete Murphy/Mick Karn first and last album. Sad that they had planned to reunite and do a second album a few months before Karn’s death

Yes, who are we to question how a classic album cover is composed :grinning:
That sort of detail would pass me by today, but then again I no longer spend hours pouring over the album covers, whilst being mesmerised by the music. Plus the cd covers are too bloody small.

I’ve really been enjoying these two albums recently.

Power of Soul & One.

Very similar line ups and from the same year, I think, 1974.

Been too busy to enjoy a music session in the cabin, Tori is putting that right.

Keb’ Mo’ - Keb’ Mo’.

Wee bit of Keb’ before the rugby this afternoon.

His debut album, and the track “Am I Wrong” remains a system tester, both for me, and, last I heard, for the local Naim dealer too.
