Beatles For Sale

Although the image is of the 2009 remaster, I’m actually playing a rip of the earlier CD release. I’ve performed back-to-back comparisons between the two and tend to prefer the earlier version, which is not so bright. Maybe the cymbals are clearer on the new version, but today I prefer the earlier one. I wonder how long before Giles gets around to this one?

For me, the 2009 CD, is the only one I prefer over the 1987 issues.

You’re right, it is a bit bright, but there’s more life and feel to it, for me.
