On original vinyl…
Hi,I have original vinyl release and a later remastered cd version,so am just wondering if this release actually sounds different as advertised, and therefore worth buying. I hesitate to enquire as to if it’s better, that’s always subjective, but would be interested in your opinion, thanks.
This was my first listen to this version, and if this was supposed to be “as it should have sounded”, I would never have bought the original, if it sounded like this! I find this very disappointing, they have removed the original albums energy.
Depends on whether you’ve been naughty or nice?
Thanks for heads up,I preferred the original vinyl when compared to cd reissue,so suspect I’d also be disappointed.
Yep. They owe a lot to John Peel and Rodders.
No not another Revolver thread
It sounds brilliant on vinyl, but just tried Pink Floyd’s Animals
on the CD that is part of the boxset and that’s not too shabby either.
At least two more are needed, one for actual speed Rain and one for the creation of Yellow Submarine
I loved Level 42 in my teenage years, so with a few hours to spare this afternoon, I’m giving some old favourites a listen…
