Freya Ridings - Freya Ridings

First time I heard this it didn’t grab me. Having seen a couple more mentions on here I thought I would give Freya another go.

This time….I’m grabbed!

Mood is a funny old thing…

Bob Dylan. Planet waves.
Bob’s brief flirtation with Island records produced this one studio album with the Band and very good it is too.
I think when he returned to CBS he also managed one or two half decent albums.

David Ryan Harris - The Bittersweet

I don’t know what to make of this. Some tracks I like, others not so much.

David seems to have two very different styles on this album. Bit unusual, but I did listen to the whole album, so he kept my interest.

‘Synchronicity’ - The Police

Contains my favourite track of theirs, ‘Synchronicity II’

A band at their peak who exited (sort of) at the top.

Plus, they were awesome live back in the day….
