Andy Sheppard has recorded some excellent albums on ECM; this is one of them.

From my marking of what would have have my dad’s 91st birthday, all originally bought by him… two Dave Brubeck EPs…

Colosseum II - ‘Electric Savage’ (1977). A great high energy, tight fusion album. All instrumental apart from the Gary Moore vocal on ‘Rivers’. Stellar cast of Jon Hiseman (drums), Don Airey (keyboards), Gary Moore (guitar) and John Mole (bass). Highlights for me are ‘Put It This Way’ and ‘Intergalactic Strut’ but it is all terrific. Impressive stuff.

Any Superline users out there could oblige a quick question (dealers closed now)

Should I put the transit screws back when plugging/unplugging the arm lead cable, my Linn plugs are very tight and take a bit of effort to push them on to the sockets. I am switching the cables to another phono stage from time to time to compare but wouldnt want to damage the sprung circuit board in the Superline.

Anyone? @Richard.Dane ?
Cheers

Horace with his hands full. Track titles are excellent:

  1. Too Much Sake
  2. Sayanora Blues
  3. The Tokyo Blues
  4. Cherry Blossom
  5. Ah! So

I give thanks!

It shouldn’t be necessary, although I can understand your concerns with the WBT Next Gen RCA sockets, so if you feel that a lot of effort is required then by all means do fit the screws to ensure the suspension is not damaged.

Can the Linn plugs be loosened off like the Rega ones? Otherwise can you fit BNCs?
