Lynyrd Skynyrd. One More from the Road. 2xCD expanded version. Arguably at their best here. My old vinyl is a bit knackered to be honest.

Link Wray. Self titled.
Thoroughly enjoying this later release by king of Rumble.
Voice more fragile and guitar more subdued but still lovely to listen to.

Happy Birthday but the most amazing thing is in 1988 he was shot point blank in the neck and he’s still alive.

Bobby Hutcherson - Dialogue

I’m not a great vibes fan, but this album really cooks. I’m not even certain how to classify it. Whatever, it may have been released 57 years ago, but it still sounds surprisingly fresh today.

Anouar Brahem - Le pad du chat noir

Anouar Brahem (Oud), François Couturier (Piano) and Jean-Louis Matinier (Accordion).

Streaming on NAS (44.1/16)… kicking off this Wednesday morning with Anouar and his fabulous trio and they are sounding sublime! Thanks Biggles for the prompt, the opening track is simply beautiful…
