Microdisney - Crooked Mile
Wonderful 3rd album from Cork’s finest. This was my introduction to their music in 1987 via a record library in Dublin - you could borrow LPs for a week, no streaming in those days! Should have bought the record when I had the chance because it’s long out of print and not on any of the streaming services. Listening to it on YouTube, wonderful stuff.
Thanks to @AndyP for playing Sean O’Hagan earlier and reminding me.

In memory of Tabby Diamond, the 12" version of a big Mighty Diamonds hit Pass The Koutchie.
Later taken up the UK charts when it was covered and renamed as Pass The Dutchie buy Musical Youth, apparently it was thought a bit inappropriate for a child group to be celebrating a herb chalice so changed it to a song about a dutch pot…its a pot for cooking M’lud!
Find it on this handy Sly n Robbie comp of their productions with Black Uhuru, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minott, Wailing Souls etc on Tidal
