Nigel Kennedy - Elgar Violin Concerto / LPO / Handley
Nige’s first recorded version (and his best) of this work. I had this originally on vinyl when it was first released, but it was too noisy, so swapped it for the CD. I much prefer CD for classical owing to the uninterrupted playback and the silent background.
