Easy Route by Igor Prochazka, what a crackin good album!
@glasnaim on another thread suggested I check out theScottish group Niteworks. Sorry, Glas – I persisted with their new album for 10 minutes, then I had to turn it off. It was truly, truly horrible.
This Record Store Day release is very good indeed and well worth getting hold of. If available as a download too.
Funnily enough I am just listening to one of his gigs that was recorded but never released to the general public.
Another super record from the Nighthawk label, as fas as I’m aware this is previously unrealeasd.
The lovely Leonard Dillon who recorded as The Ethiopian and had hits in the Ska & Rocksteady era, coaxed out of almost obscurity by Nighthawk who put together a fine All Stars Band for this uncommercial and genuine from country Reggae, Roots and Soul music by one of the elders of the music.
Ethiopian And His Allstars- The Return Of Jack Sparrow (Omnivire Recordings/Nighthawk)
