I remember buying that via mail order when it was released. I played Highway Star continuously each evening for a week. The guitar solo still gives me goosebumps!

Now this is an absolute corker.
The original 3 volumes on Treasure Isle were essential purchases back when they came out and remain one of the best ever compilations of prime Rocksteady era music from Duke Reid’s Treasure Isle Studio.
Now the excellent Doctor Bird have compiled the original 3 volumes along with bonus tracks and a further specially curated 3 volumes over 3 CD’s and 84 tracks, not a dud amongst them
