Ronnie Spector, English heart. RIP.
Yeah, they’ve been a bit quiet, hope there’s something on its way.
Just checked their website… looking good. Vinyl ordered🥳
Sade The Best Of Sade / 2000 Epic / UK CD / 5005942
@Debs By coincidence I almost posted this classic below as my song of the day last night, but went with a Donald Fagen related track instead as he had been high on my playlist this week.
My LP12’s back in my office after having a Radikal 1 fitted to replace my ancient Lingo 1. Stunning…….with some Stones to celebrate!
Bob James Ivory Coast / 1988 Warner Bros / Japan Promo CD / 25P2-2150
Not his best, but brings back some good memories of a lost friend.
Thomas Dolby - Aliens Ate My Buick, on first UK pressing. Fabulous album from Mr D, and a great sounding disk too.
Azymuth Butterfly / 2008 Victor / Japan CD / VICJ61569
Great cover of the Herbie Hancock tune for the title track, and excellent sound quality / music throughout as per usual from the Brazilians.
Ok, have nibbled, going there now myself to see!
Been checking their news randomly for ages, been messaging a few mates to let them know as well now, new album end of Feb, definitely one to look forward to.
Made a lasting impression on first listen when they supported London Grammar back in 2017 or 2018 I think.
I see they are supporting War on Drugs in April… looking at options currently…
