What is the middle album? You haven’t identified it.

I’m a big fan of Colin Hay

Great to see he’s still pushing them out

Chopin - ‘Complete Works for Piano and Orchestra’ , Claudio Arrau - Piano (1993). This CD reissue of early seventies recordings by Claudio Arrau sounded really good yesterday.

Finally Spoon’s ‘Lucifer on the Sofa’ has competition for my Album of 2022. Wilco: Cruel Country.

OK I always love Wilco/Tweedy but this is of the first order. A band absolutely at ease, great songs that slightly twist and turn without somehow trying too hard (no art-rock experimentalism this time). Maybe you could edit the track list a bit but in truth their ‘filler’ is better than most bands ever make

Subtly brilliant. Again.
