Alexandra Stréliski, amazing piano. I’m really enjoying her album Inscape. Give it a few seconds of listening, you will get the picture real quick.
She was nominated for three awards at the 2020 Juno Awards, for Album of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and Instrumental Album of the Year

If there are any fans of the percussion of Sarathy Korwar out there this is great. A collaboration with an artist called Auntie Flo who brings a range of electronics to the party. I’m also looking forward to seeing and hearing Sarathy at both Love Supreme festival as well as WOMAD so should be a good summer! It’s called Shruti Dances and streaming on Qobuz

Have never sold any of my records as they were purchased for the music not what they might be worth in 50 years.

Listening to Slava Grigoryan (baritone guitar). Bach cello suites. ABC classics
Quality 1970s Philly soul – the title track is an all-time classic. Ese and her band did a cover of it last night and it was superb. Hence playing the original this morning.
