Initially I thought, it’s ok in a breezy inoffensive MOR kind of way and a bit like HiFi dem music.

Robert Ward - New Role Soul

It is a grower. I purchased it on vinyl a few months ago - and it’s now a go to LP if you ever want to demonstrate how great your system sounds. One of the first digital recordings I believe. This one, and Steely Dan’s Aja, sound superb on my HiFi.
