Bill goes a bit disco on this 1977 hit. Contains “Lovely Day”.

Disc 4 of this 6-CD set contains a fabulous version of “Living For The City” but also its fair share of soppy ballads and some rather ill-judged forays into disco.

Cheers Kev :+1:

One of my favorite albums from one of my absolute favorite artists. Especially in light of the recording format where it was all played live with an audience but no cheering or applause was allowed.

Fine guitar work from Vinnie Zummo. One of his few albums with no Graham Maby.

From an Amazon reseller for $10 on flawless mint vinyl (3 sides).

Kings of Convenience - Peace Or Love

Erik Glambek Bøe (Drums, Guitar, Piano, Vocals), Erlend Øye (Guitar, Vocals), Davide Bertolini (Double Bass, Viola da Gamba), Feist (Vocals), Alex Grieg (Double Bass), Tobias Hett (Viola) and Alexander von Mehren (Bass, Keyboards, Marimba).

Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… returning home after a run up to Skagit Valley to pick up 3 flats of strawberries since the wife plans on doing some baking this weekend… and the Kings of Convience are just what I need to put up my feet and relax for awhile. Life is sweet and music is simply marvelous!

I track that down a few months ago after a friend mentioned it, it wasn’t a surprise that it hadn’t aged well. Use to really like it back in those heady days of disco.
