Elvis Costello and Allan Mayes formed the band 50 years ago but split up before recording anything, they are now looking back and have recorded the album that maybe they would have made when they were 18. It is rather good.

I have all the studio albums, but still picked up this compilation album many, many years ago.

Never gave it a thought to be honest Dave, not long back from watching the cricket at the pub, so just chillin’ (as they say). As @TheKevster says, nothing on that takes my fancy. May tune in tomorrow night, when my main man is on. Just hope his voice holds out, It’s one thing to be caught up in the moment at a concert, it’s another thing to be under the scrutiny of a BBC broadcast. I think this has tempered my hopes and enjoyment for the event this year.
