What are you listening to in 2022 and why might anyone be interested

I went lower case loud not to infringe Dave’s TM.
I love the Cult, but I suspect Dave wasn’t quite loud enough.

Yes, I realised I did not reply to Dave using capitals, I really should have :grinning:
Are you watching/taping The Stones tonight on BBC 2?

I’m taping it, I have a day stuck in the house Monday waiting for deliveries so watching the Stones’ll cheer me up.
Oddly enough the deliveries aren’t for me. I have two friends who live in a narrow boat, I’m visiting them next week in Devizes (for a walk, picnic and pub dinner) on the (slightly detoured) way down to London, so Sara asked if she could get something sent here from M&S (delivery to boats is tricky) and I bring it down. And my bestie in London has ordered a new case for her holiday, as she works and I’m retired it’s easier to deliver here and I’ll drop it off when I’m at Mum’s.

Cannae believe you two.

Dave’s trademark … … … no “loud”, … … … bit “LOUD”

Thanks @AlanP I’m back in bed!
hope your doing well @wren and haven’t suffered too much ill effect. I have had a particularly nasty reaction, dunno if I copped a strong dose or what but my body has almost been in a kind of shock, Mrs Dread wanted to call an ambulance as I was delirious and shaking at one point but I resisted. Freaked me out, maybe my metabolism or biology I don’t know, I had an extreme reaction to the first vax which puzzled the doctor so something going on.

Now this is more my kind of pandemic..

Back online tomorrow hopefully zzzzzzzzzzzz

I’ve just had a thought, @dave-marshall and @Eoink , we three could walk into a bar, I’m sure there’s a joke their somewhere.

I think I’d enjoy that. Dave, Alan and Eóin walked into a bar, had a few drinks, talked about music and had a lot of laughs. (And drove out all the regulars by talking music.)

Ritchie Blackmore - ’s Rainbow - Late ‘70s vinyl
@Wren played Rainbow earlier, so I had to grab some teenage vinyl. Ritchie could pick a band, Cozy Powell on drums, Ronnie James Dio on the vocals…. Excellent hard rock songs and a couple of ballads, great guitar, great vocals, fine band, top class hard rock.

Lou Reed - New York - 2020 vinyl reissue
Lou’s great hymning of the city he loved (as it was in the late ‘80s) and his powerful denunciation of the things he disapproved of at that time, meaningful poetic lyrics, intoned with feeling, backed with great playing. As the man said “You can’t beat two guitars, bass and drums”.
From the great 30th anniversary box set.
