probably my most played Zep!
The Beatles - Please Please Me
When you can’t decide what to play, the Beatles will always be right.
Pharoah Sanders - Karma
All two tracks of it, including the gorgeous The Creator Has A Master Plan, with its obvious nod towards A Love Supreme.
Now playing…
Jack White - Entering Heaven Alive
Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… kicking off this Wednesday morning with an album I have had in the queue for a few days and now taking Jack out for a spin and the music is sounding mighty fine!
Birth | Born | 2022
This came highly recommended by a friend of mine whose musical taste I trust and admire, so I picked it up on bandcamp. Fine sounding Californian progressive rock, psyche 'n folk that takes you straight back to those heady days of the mid-sixties and onward. Enjoying this one greatly.
Now playing The Creator Has A Master Plan from this set, live at Montreux in 2011. I think this might be better than Sanders’s original.
Tasty!
Now Playing…
Sean Rowe - The Darkness Dressed in Colored Lights
Sean Rowe (Vocals, Guitar), Shane Leonard (Drums, Percussion), Jeremy Boetcher (Bass), Ben Lester (Keyboards, Pedal Steel), Courtney Hartman (Vocals, Guitar), Chris Carey (Bass), John DeHaven (Brass Section), Jeff Nania (Brass Section), and Joel Yannuzzi (Brass Section).
Streaming on Qobuz (88.2/24)… continuing on this morning with Sean and his
talented group of musicians working with him and they are sounding mighty sweet!
A nice review of the album can be found at Glide Magazine
Ray La Montagne | Trouble | 2004
Because I’ve not played any RLM for literally years and needed to remind myself of his fine early music.
Jessie Buckley & Bernard Butler - For All Our Days That Tear The Heart
What can I say. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
