On a recently acquired used CD:
Anna Lapwood, celestial dawn. Thanks, @VinoVeritas. Awesome! Now I am listening to the few individual work by Anna Lapwood and Bonobo work I can find on Qobuz. Couldn’t find their collaboration yet.

There’s some gems hidden in between those embarrassing tracks.
Rickie Lee Jones Traffic from Paradise
Acantha Lang EP “Sugar Woman”
Heard it on community radio here in Sydney, tunes are strong
Now London based ( via hometown New Orleans and then New York )
Soul/Blues/Funk in the tradition of Aretha Franklin, Mavis Staples , Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder etc
Debut album out later this year. Some BBC radio guy says destined for world domination ha
Plenty of YouTube stuff. Check her out live you London dudes
Her stuffs on Qobuz I’ll check it out, cheers.
Sugar Woman a great tune - if she continues to write songs like that she could go a long way
She’s a character I think - there is a great YouTube 40 minutes - lunch gig in a restaurant with a 3 piece band
Good sense of southern humour methinks
The track list reads like a Radio 1 playlist from the 1970s.
Good evening David
Reading further this was a one-off occasion. They only met the night before!
The piece in question was played on the last night of Bonobo’s 5 night residency at The Royal Albert Hall in May 2022.
There doesn’t seem to be an official release just song footage on YouTube on Anna’s page and the RAH page.
SQ not great I know but I physically reacted to the crowd response and Anna obvious joy. Don’t think it very often 5000 people cheer a great organ.

A classic as are most of those on the album.
